Golden Tiger’s Eye

Golden tiger’s eye is the classic form of the stone, a warm amber-brown crossed by a bright, shifting line of light that slides across the surface as the wrist turns. It has been carried as a talisman since ancient times; the Egyptians set it into the eyes of statues of their gods and called it the all-seeing eye, linking it to Ra, the sun god. Roman soldiers wore it into battle for courage, which is part of why it has long been held a stone for men. Its golden colour ties it to prosperity, confidence, and social standing, and it is said to dispel negativity.

Black Matte Onyx

Matte black onyx is its opposite in every way — no shine, no colour, just depth. It is said to strengthen willpower and promote a calm, mature steadiness, encouraging its wearer to look for solutions rather than dwell on problems. One of the classic dark protective stones, it has a black surface traditionally said to absorb the negativity around it.
