Hessonite Garnet

Hessonite is a pure variety of garnet, here in a deep, warm red that earns its old description as living fire. As a protective stone, garnet is said to strengthen vitality and the basic survival instincts, and to spark courage, charisma, and the creative power to act. It has a long history of being worn when the stakes are high: medieval crusaders carried garnet on their journeys to the Holy Land to strengthen their courage, and it was once worn as a guard against poison. It is a stone for pushing forward.

Lava Stone

Lava stone is the counterweight — real volcanic rock, formed in an instant as molten lava hits the air and cools, trapping tiny pockets that give each bead its matte, porous texture and its surprising lightness. It comes straight from the earth’s core and carries a plain meaning of grounding. Sometimes called the Rebirth Stone, it is said to help release unhealthy emotions, keep the mind stable, and calm anger.

The bracelet was handmade in the Czech Republic.
