Ametrine – meaning

It is a rare, little-known combination of citrine and amethyst in one crystal. It is only mined in one place on Earth in the Bolivian Anahi mine. According to legend, this two-colored gemstone was worshipped by the local Indian tribe Ayoreo for 500 years, but officialy it was firsty documented in 1925. Unfortunately, the supply of this mineral is very limited, and if new deposits will not be found, we can expect that the value of this mineral will rise.

Ametrine is a powerful energy amplifier that combines male and female energy. From the point of view of chakras, the physical solar plexus chakra is connected with the spiritual energy of the third eye chakra and the higher energy of the crown chakra. Ametrine also provide properties of both gemstones: Amethyst and Citrine.
