Fekete turmalin – Jelentése

Tourmaline crystallises deep underground, under conditions few gemstones can survive. An ancient Egyptian legend describes the long journey tourmaline made from the earth’s core to its surface, passing through the rainbow along the way — which is said to be why it can be found in so many colours and shades. It’s a charming story, and not so far from the truth, since tourmaline really does occur in a wide range of colours.

Black onyx, black tourmaline, and black obsidian are all considered traditional protective stones because of their dark colour. They’re said to surround you with a protective energy that helps you overcome the negative thought patterns that come from one of our most draining emotions: fear.
