Tanzanite – Meaning

Because it was only discovered recently, tanzanite doesn’t carry centuries of traditional legend the way many other stones do. Even so, it’s believed to be a powerful stimulant for mental clarity, especially for strengthening intuition, and is thought to help you connect with your spiritual guides. Spiritually, it’s said to help lift the spirit and purify karma — a wonderful stone for deep meditation.

Tanzanite is named after its country of origin. It’s a blue variety of zoisite, ranging in colour from deep ultramarine blue to a soft violet-blue-grey.
