Black tourmaline
Tourmaline is a typical mineral that that comes from high temperatures and pressures in the earth’s core, and it get to the surface by volcanic activity. An ancient Egyptian legend mentions how long tourmaline had to travel from core of the earth to reach the surface. It is also written in this legend that the tourmaline went through the rainbow and thus appears in many colors. This is not at all far from the truth, because this gem can occur in a plenty of colors and shades.
