Fluorite – meaning

The name of this stone was derived from the Latin word “fluere” meaning “to flow”. The physical properties of this mineral also gave the name to the term fluorescence (reaction on the UV light rays).

Fluorite is one of the most popular crystalline gemstones in the world that loves both geologists for its coloring and the remarkable cubic crystal structure, as well as alternative healers for its internal vibrations, which have a strong resonance with the human mind.
