Fekete obszidián
Obsidian is natural volcanic glass, formed the instant molten lava meets the air and cools too fast to crystallise. Humans have worked it since the Stone Age, when hunters chipped its edges into blades and weapon tips — among the oldest tools we know. It counts among the classic dark protective stones, alongside black onyx and black tourmaline, and is believed to absorb negativity and steady the mind. The Aztecs polished it into gleaming black mirrors and gazed into them during sacred rituals; on the wrist, that same deep, glassy black gives the bracelet its weight and seriousness.
Tigrisszem
Warm tiger’s eye answers it with a band of golden light that moves across the stone as the wrist turns. Carried as a talisman since ancient times, it was set into the eyes of Egyptian statues of the gods — the all-seeing eye — and Roman soldiers are said to have worn it into battle for courage, part of why it has always been considered a stone for men. It has long been worn to attract prosperity and confidence.
Two stones that men have carried for thousands of years, chosen for a piece about what endures. Obsidian grounds and protects; tiger’s eye brings warmth and drive — together they speak to building something steady enough to pass on. It suits a man leaving his mark: worn day to day, and meant to be around a while.
