Spinel is a little known gemstone, which in recent years become a very popular healing stone thanks to soothing and revitalizing vibrations. Colorful spinel – meaning
The name spinel comes from the Latin word “spinella”, which means “small thorn” due to the sharp points on its octahedral crystals. Spinel can be found in a whole range of colors from red and pink to shades of yellow, blue or green. The red spinel is significantly similar to ruby and can be even found in the same localities. Thanks to that has been spinel historically very often mistaken with ruby. Unlike ruby, however, spinel is only little known to the public. Colorful spinel is a beautiful gemstone for jewellery making, for example, the St. Wenceslas Crown or the British Crown Jewels include the most beatiful spinels of the world.
It is scientifically proven that some spinel crystals formed millions of years ago, at high pressures and temperatures, during the impact of asteroids on Earth, such as the asteroid that was supposed to wipe out dinosaurs. The unusual durability of these crystals allowed them to “survive” intact in these asteroid impact spots until present days. This allows scientists to study spinel deposits and acc. to them identify asteroid impact spots that are already hidden. Thanks to explorating these places are scientists able to discover new insights into the evolution of the Earth and the solar system.

Because each stone bead is original, the jewellery may differ in some details from the product photos.
The bracelet was made in the Czech Republic.
The bracelet will be delivered in a suede protective bag with the Trimakasi logo.
The individual variants differ from each other either in the number of used stone beads or in the color of the last bead.
In order to maintain longevity, the bracelet should avoid careless use and extreme influences (such as high temperatures or certain chemicals) that could damage the cord. We do not recommend doing sports, sleeping, bathing or sauning with the bracelet on.
