Ruby – meaning

Ruby, like blue sapphire, is a variety of corund mineral – alumina silicate, which gained its color thanks to the addition of chromium, iron and titanium.

The intense ruby energy sharpens the mind, expands consciousness and stimulates concentration. It promotes courage and helps to suppress the fear from the supernatural phenomenon and nightmares. It can also spark creativity and open the locked door in the human mind that we would otherwise not dare to enter.

Legends suggest that there is an immortal fire burning in the ruby that can scare away negative people, manipulators, and emotional vampires from our surroundings. The fire power of the ruby is also believed to be able to protect the home from intruders and evil forces. Hindus believe that the red glow of ruby originating from an eternal flame that cannot be extinguished by any mortal. For Buddhists, ruby is the most valuable gift to honor Buddha.
