Green nephrite (green jade) is a very powerful healing stone that releases negative thoughts. Wearing green jade as a talisman can protect against failure and misfortune. The Chinese believed that jade was a cure for all diseases, and because of that it was the basic cornerstone of Chinese medicine. As a traditional part of Chinese culture, jade was also carved into various amulets and statues and the most famous were the dragon statues that adorned the Chinese emperor’s palace.
