Lava Stone – Meaning

Lava stone is real volcanic rock — formed in an instant, the moment molten lava reaches the air and cools rapidly, trapping tiny air pockets inside. That natural porous structure, sometimes called volcanite, is what gives every bead its own one-of-a-kind matte texture, and it’s also what makes lava stone surprisingly lightweight on the wrist despite its bold, textured look. You’ll often find its deep, matte black tone grounding a chakra bracelet or worn alongside a favourite gemstone.

Lava comes directly from the earth’s core, carrying a spiritual meaning of grounding and connection with nature. Lava stone is said to keep the mind stable and help calm anger, and its grounding effect is also used in massage.
