Tridacna
Tridacna is a genus of large sea clams that inhabit the shallow waters of coral reefs in the warm seas of the Indo-Pacific region.
Tridacna shells are known as one of the seven treasures of Buddhism. Buddhists believe that these shells and their products can protect you from evil spirits and give you spiritual strength and stability.
According to South Asian legends, Tridacna shells help soothe nerves and help with insomnia. These creamy white shell beads are believed to help stabilize mood swings while relieving unnecessary worries that slow down the mind.
