Botswana Agate
Botswana agate was created about 187 million years ago by volcanic activity of silicon-rich lava. Individial layers of lava created these unique patterns of this mineral, which today can please the human eye. This gemstone is named after the only place on earth where it can be found, small south african country, Botswana. Aboriginal people valued this stone since ancient times for its ability to retain the energy of sunlight and soothe the human mind surrounded by darkness. They also believe until today that this stone can stimulate sexual energies and fertility.
Botswana agate is valued today for its ability to help us make fundamental changes in our lives and see solutions rather than finding problems. Agates generally promote internal stability, calmness and maturity. Their pleasant vibrations have protective properties that promote self-confidence and a sense of safety.
